All hunters must check in upon arrival and check out before departure

All gates on the ranch must remain closed

A hunt ends on a specified day or when all allowed game is taken (whichever occurs first)

A wounded deer is considered a dead deer

No hunt is “guaranteed”. These are wild animals

Please have your rifle ready to go and zeroed in at 100 yards as most of your shots will be from this distance

All hunters and guests will be required to sign a “Liability Release Agreement”

Texas Hunting License is required before hunting at Falling Star Ranch

We supply the Tags. No Tags are required off of your license

Extended rifle season: October through February

No smoking in or around hunting blinds or while hunting

No smoking in Ranch House or Hunter's Cabin

No alcohol consumption before a hunt or in hunting blinds

No unauthorized use of ranch vehicles

No ATVs allowed. We will transport you everywhere you need to go

No dogs allowed

PLEASE do not litter

The most important factor is SAFETY. For this reason, your guide may ask that you check your rifle before climbing into/out of blinds, vehicles, etc. to be sure that it is unloaded

We comply with ALL state and local laws and regulations

Violation of ANY ranch policy will result in forfeiture of all fees and hunting privileges

Rifle - nothing less than .223 for most game - zeroed in at 100 yards. Nothing less than .270 for Red Stag Bulls.

Ammunition, binoculars, and hunting supplies.

Hunting attire.

Cooler suitable to transport your deer harvest.
